40th SURPRISE Birthday Party Nov. 2009

This was the Birthday that we thought would never come. . . 40!!! We just can't believe it! Our good friend Kathia pulled off an amazing SURPRISE PARTY for the both of us! It was an AMAZING night. And YES we were actually SHOCKED!!! A Thank you to my AWESOME family and friends for celebrating this Birthday with us. We had a GREAT time. We will TREASURE those memories and laughs forever!

I hear that 40 is the new 20 . . . I can go with that!!!

Halloween 2009

SPOOKY!!!

We love Halloween at our house! This year Ash was the 70's flower child. We called her Daisy Flowers. Austin was Captain Fox of Star Wars. This year for Halloween night we went to Haden's Football game at Weber State and then trick or treating in Jenny's neighborhood. The kids loved being with their cousins!

Ash woke up early to make her Dad breakfast in bed. Ash made waffles, eggs and bacon. Rick was so surprise and delighted! He loves breakfast! Ash was so excited to do it for him! She was grinning from ear to ear!

Carving Pumpkins

FALL is such a fun time!

SOCCER!!!!

SOCCER has come to an END!!! We are SO sad. . .  SOCCER is a big deal at our house. Yes Rick and I are the CRAZY sideline parents. We LOVE watching our kids play. I'm not sure who loves the sport more the KIDS or US LOL!!! Good thing we have spring SOCCER to look forward too!

Ashlyn's Violin Fiddle Concert Sept. 09

Ashlyn had her fiddle concert and her grandparents, Mitch and her best friend Sophia were able to come! Ash get's so nervous in front of people. The amazing thing about Ash is you can't even tell she's nervous! She did awesome!!! She quit the fiddler!! Ash YOU are AMAZING!

Austin loving Flag Football!!!

Austin in just the last few months has taken a big interest in football. He wants to know everything about it. Rick and Austin have loved hanging out, watching football and talking about the in's and out's of the game. Rick is just as excited to share all he knows with is son! It's been really fun to watch Austin learn and see  his enthusiasm for the game!  Austin told us the other day.... mom, dad if I try out for a pro football team I'm going to try out for the Dallas Cowboys as quarterback.... just so you know! You just got to love this boy!!!

Austin's Baptism Day Sept. 25 2009

Today was a very special day for Austin he was baptized! He asked his Uncle Mitch to baptize him and his Grandpa Harris to confirm him. Austin had a huge smile on his face all day! 

Being "8" is GREAT!!!

Austin turned 8 on September 19th!!! He is so excited to be "8"!!!  Austin wanted a football cake and he got just that!! He had such a fun birthday party!

First Day of School 2009

The first day of 5th grade for Ash and 2nd grade for Austin!!! Wow where does the time go!!! We had such a fun summer.... I'm going to miss my cute kids and having them home with me!!!

Well I can't believe we did it but we did! We got another cat! We tried to think of something or somewhere we love as a family and we game up with San Diego. So Diego is this little guys name. He is about 3 months old and a little sweet heart! Welcome to our world Diego!!

Saying Goodbye to Oscar! August 2009

 Oscar has been a part of our family for 7 years! We love him!!! He has been such a blessing to our family! We have a lot of great memories 

ones that will make you laugh and cry!!!

 Oscar got cancer and died two months after we found out. This has been such a hard time for our family!
